The coronavirus pandemic has meant that we, as a society, have had to get used to a new way of being and our daily life and routine has perhaps changed.
Many people are experiencing increased anxiety, worry and confusion and access to online counselling is likely to be crucial for many young people and adults.
Online counselling offers clients the same level of support as meeting in person and there is mounting evidence to suggest that the outcome of online counselling is at least equal to the effects of face to face counselling.
Working online allows you to have your sessions in your own home, sit comfortably on your own sofa with familiar things around you. It is also ideal if you struggle with childcare or live too far away to see the counsellor of your choice.
Many people also experience a greater connection with their counsellor via online therapy. My sessions are conducted via Zoom and will be password protected. I will work from a confidential space, just like in a face to face session.
